History of the Program
The North Carolina A&T girls basketball team was established in 1982. The program has enjoyed some success in its history, winning three MEAC regular season titles and five MEAC tournament championships. The Aggies have also made five appearances in the NCAA tournament, with their best showing coming in 2004 when they advanced to the Sweet Sixteen.
